As per an ANAROCK\u2019s\nsurvey, out of all participants that voted for real estate as the best asset\nclass for investment, at least 55% were in the age bracket of 25-35 years as\nagainst 42% in the previous survey. Interestingly, 68% of all these millennials\nare end-users. Indeed, physical assets render the highest sense of security\nespecially during a crisis like Covid-19.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"COVID-_19_has_not_knocked_demand_for_affordable_homes\"><\/span>COVID- 19 has not knocked demand for affordable homes<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>It was predicted that the inexpensive segment would be the worst affected in 2020 due to&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.propertypistol.com\/blog\/why-purchasing-a-home-during-lockdown-is-safe-stable-and-secure-investment\/\">coronavirus impact<\/a><\/strong>&nbsp;because concerns over its target audience\u2019s limited income and fear of unemployment are still going on. Just like the previous survey, over 36% of respondents prefer properties priced within sub Rs. 45 lakh budget. It is also observed that in the current uncertain times, many buyers having a higher budget previously would have actually reduced it. They would instead prefer to buy a more functional house based on the current requirements only.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"62_of_buyers_prefer_to_pay_a_premium_and_opt_for_developers_with_the_least_execution_risk\"><\/span>62% of buyers prefer to pay a premium and opt for developers with the least execution risk<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>Most of the respondents favour risk-free\ninvestments. Nothing new that the demand for developers having the least\nexecution risk is at an all-time high, even if the property is relatively\nhigher priced. As mentioned in the previous ANAROCK survey, just 52% preferred\nhigher-priced property from branded developers over smaller ones that sold\nproperties at a lower price but had high execution risk- thus recording a 10%\njump during Covid-19.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Over_34_of_investors_now_prefer_RTM_homes\"><\/span>Over 34% of investors now prefer RTM homes<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>The majority of respondents are seeking\nproperty from investment prefer ready-to-move-in (RTM) homes. As many as 34%\nare now preferring ready homes over under-construction ones mainly because\nconstruction activity is completely halted across the country; resulting in\ndelays in the project by several months. In comparison, last survey trends\nindicated that just 12% of investors preferred ready homes then.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Amidst these perceivable changes, we tried to present the changes in the consumer sentiments during the pandemic \u2013 infused lockdown.
