It is also expected to boost tourism in the region and improve connectivity between the two cities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The expressway is a part of the Bharatmala Pariyojana, a national highways development project. It was constructed by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) at a cost of Rs. 8,066 crore.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The expressway has a number of features that make it one of the most advanced in India.
