The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.propertypistol.com\/blog\/digital-technologies-developers-are-adopting-amidst-covid-19\/\">COVID-19<\/a> cases in India have been on a rise for a month now. With hospitals running out of beds and oxygen, the citizens of India are doing their best to help the country tackle this disaster. <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p>Since both <strong>Bengaluru<\/strong> and <strong>Gurugram<\/strong> have been emerging as the epicenter of Covid cases, the district administration of <strong>Gurugram<\/strong> and <strong>Bengaluru<\/strong> have allowed the NGOs and gated housing societies to set up small <strong>covid centers <\/strong>in their premises. Many housing societies and NGOs have requested permission to set up these facilities which are run by the <strong>Resident Welfare Associations<\/strong> <strong>(RWAs)<\/strong>. This is majorly done to treat mild symptomatic and asymptomatic patients.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These <strong>Covid centers<\/strong> will be using their own resources and will be a big help as they reduce the burden on hospitals by managing the asymptomatic or pre-symptomatic covid patients. Such an order would help the covid cases stay in check. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the first wave of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.propertypistol.com\/blog\/healthy-tips-to-follow-during-covid-19\/\">COVID-19<\/a>, such an order was requested but the government thought it wasn\u2019t necessary as the country hadn\u2019t faced such a huge crisis where the whole country is grappling for beds and oxygen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One should keep in mind that these <strong>Covid centers<\/strong> are not meant for critically ill, elderly patients, lactating or pregnant women, children less than 10 years of age, and patients with comorbidities. It is essential that the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.propertypistol.com\/blog\/real-estate-developers-step-forward-in-aiding-medical-infrastructure-setup\/\">Covid centers<\/a><\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.propertypistol.com\/blog\/real-estate-developers-step-forward-in-aiding-medical-infrastructure-setup\/\"> in<\/a><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.propertypistol.com\/blog\/real-estate-developers-step-forward-in-aiding-medical-infrastructure-setup\/\"> Gurugram<\/a><\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.propertypistol.com\/blog\/real-estate-developers-step-forward-in-aiding-medical-infrastructure-setup\/\"> and <\/a><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.propertypistol.com\/blog\/real-estate-developers-step-forward-in-aiding-medical-infrastructure-setup\/\">Bengaluru<\/a><\/strong> follow strict infection control and prevention policies, separate toilets, and no intermixing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The facility also needs to be linked with an ambulance provider, surveillance team (IDSP). Citizens should also prominently display the telephone numbers of the doctors and <strong>Resident Welfare Associations (RWAs).<\/strong> If a doctor is residing in the gates housing society, he\/she needs to facilitate the daily examination of these patients.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is best if a caregiver is also present to keep the records and contact the emergency clinic if necessary. Both the caregiver and doctor will undergo a training session on Covid management, infection, prevention, and control practices which is organized by the (CMO) Chief Medical Officer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is a very thoughtful initiative by the citizens of India.
