It comes under <a href=\"https:\/\/www.propertypistol.com\/blog\/heres-everything-you-need-to-know-about-pradhan-mantri-awas-yojana-pmay-in-2020\/\">Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana- Urban (PMAY-U)<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The goal is focused on urban migrants\/ poor. AHRCs provide <a href=\"https:\/\/propertypistol.com\/rent\">affordable rental housing<\/a> to urban migrants\/ poor, close to their workplace. Model 1 is focused on the utilization of existing Government funded vacant houses by converting them into <a href=\"https:\/\/propertypistol.com\/\">ARHCs<\/a>. This model will be supported by Public-Private Partnership or by Public Agencies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The second model is focused on the construction, operation and then maintenance of ARHCs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Who_will_benefit\"><\/span><strong>Who\nwill benefit?<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>This sub-scheme of PMAY-U covers a complete spectrum of varied groups. The main focus is to help in reverse migration. As because of covid19, a lot of workers are migrating. Along with these, measures to increase workers&#8217; productivity, steps to save cost on housing are also included.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"ARHCs_Beneficiaries_are\"><\/span><strong>ARHCs Beneficiaries are<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>1) Varied groups of urban migrants\/poor from EWS\/LIG categories. This also includes Industrial Workers &amp; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.propertypistol.com\/blog\/credai-president-announces-vaccination-drive-for-2-5-cr-construction-workers\/\">construction workers<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2) Migrants working with market\/ trade associations, Educational\/ health institutions, Hospitality sector, Long-term tourists\/ visitors -Students etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"What_is_the_objective_of_this_scheme\"><\/span><strong>What\nis the objective of this scheme?<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>With\nthe scheme of ARHC, the Government is aiming for multiple benefits. A few of\nthem are mentioned below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1)\nBetter living environment for the workers.
