This is done so that more citizens pay their <a href=\"https:\/\/www.propertypistol.com\/blog\/amid-covid-19-pandemic-the-deadlines-of-property-tax-have-been-extended\/\">property tax<\/a> on time.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"411\" height=\"245\" src=\"https:\/\/www.propertypistol.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/03-Thumbnail-1.jpg\" alt=\"All you need to know about the GIFT City\" class=\"wp-image-1884\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.propertypistol.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/03-Thumbnail-1.jpg 411w, https:\/\/www.propertypistol.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/03-Thumbnail-1-300x179.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 411px) 100vw, 411px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>On 31st May at the general body meeting, the <strong>NMC (Nagpur Municipal Corporation)\u00a0<\/strong> took the decision of the <strong>property tax rebate<\/strong>. The <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/propertypistol.com\/\">real estate<\/a><\/strong> owners who have paid the tax before the general body decision will also be benefitted from this act as their excess money will be either adjusted in the next year\u2019s tax bill or will be refunded.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the first two months of the current financial year (2021-2022), the <strong>NMC\u2019s <\/strong>revenue from all the property tax collection was sufficient. The <strong>NMC <\/strong>has received Rs. 19.5 crore against Rs. 9.22 crore property tax revenue generated in the last financial year (2020-2021). This is almost a 112% increase as compared to last year. Around 38000 <strong>real estate<\/strong> owners have paid their property tax.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>NMC <\/strong>has not yet implemented the standing committee\u2019s budget. But, within a couple of days, the civic chief of <strong>NMC <\/strong>will implement the budget. According to reports, the delay was due to a clerical mistake. The ruling BJP CM has approached the former CM, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.propertypistol.com\/blog\/weekly-news-single-use-plastic-will-be-banned\/\">Devendra Fadnavis<\/a> in order to get back Rs. 58 crore which was deducted from the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.propertypistol.com\/blog\/interview-house-of-hiranandani-impact-of-gst-rera-pmay-schemes\/\">GST<\/a> grant of the <strong>NMC <\/strong>for the month of April.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the revised GST grant of this financial year, the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.propertypistol.com\/blog\/roadway-projects-in-india-are-building-a-sustainable-future\/\">NMC <\/a><\/strong>must get Rs. 108 crore every month.
