This extract is issued through the tahsildar by the revenue department and contains details like ownership of the plot, date of the ownership, survey number detail, liabilities of the plot, and occupancy. The number 7 represents Form VII and consists of details of the owners and their rights, whereas, the number 12 represents Form XII that consists of details of the agricultural qualities (crops and the area covered by the crops) of the land.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The 7\/12 extract is only a record to ascertain the revenue liability and not a conclusive document to prove any ownership.
