Railways, Roads and Highways, Petroleum and Gas, Power, Telecom, Shipping, Aviation, and other central government departments will be involved in this effort. Gati, the Hindi word meaning speed, aims to boost economic growth through infrastructure development (Shakti).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Gati Shakti mission is led by\nNICDC (national industrial corridor development company ltd). It would link\nindustrial sectors in all states to Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai,\nHyderabad, Visakhapatnam, and finally Chandigarh.It is expected to hire twice\nas many competent workers, triple exports, and double currency. The North East\nis being included in this development mega push with the rest of the country,\nwith an emphasis on constructing airports, goods trains, and dedicated freight\ncorridors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The comprehensive infrastructure\ndevelopment effort &#8216;Gatishakti&#8217; aims to boost industrial productivity and job\nopportunities. It is recognized as the government&#8217;s all-encompassing strategy\nfor developing modern railways, roads, canals, and airways.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Important\nPillars of &#8216;Gatishakti&#8217;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Completeness-\nBringing all government initiatives together on a single platform to give data\nand visibility to all government agencies for successful planning.<\/li><li>Prioritization-\nProject priorities are determined through cross-sectoral collaboration.<\/li><li>Efficiencies-\nIn collaboration with the ministries, the project planning process will\ndiscover important stumbling blocks, allowing the ministries to create the best\nsolutions.<\/li><li>Coordination-\nGati Shakti will aid in the holistic synchronization of each department&#8217;s\nactivity in addition to ensuring cross-departmental collaboration.<\/li><li>Perceptive-\nA GIS-based spatial planning and analysis tool will be included in the\napproach. The executing agency will have consistent data in one location,\nproviding for better visibility and decision-making.<\/li><li>Effectiveness-\nAll ministries and departments will be able to follow, analyze, and visualize\nthe progress of cross-sectoral projects using satellite images to feed an\nintegrated GIS platform.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Gati Shakti, PM Modi&#8217;s initiative, is a great step forward.
