According to the Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority (PMRDA), the route would reduce traffic congestion and provide access to the city&#8217;s fastest-growing districts. <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p>The route will be 128 kilometers long and link all of the city&#8217;s roadways, serving twenty-nine communities. The cost is expected to be US$1.4 billion at 104.08 billion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Apart from that\nthe planned Ring Road, according to the state&#8217;s urban development minister,\nwill help reduce pollution by around 25% and improve socio-economic growth in\nthe region.In addition, he stated that the project will boost Pune&#8217;s road\nconnection. He emphasized that cars traveling to locations such as Saswad,\nNashik, Ahmednagar, Konkan, and Mumbai traverse thru the city, generating\ntraffic congestion as well as pollution of the air and noise. Once the road is up, these\nmicro-markets will likely become housing centers with convenient access to the\nrest of the city. Pimpri and Pirangut,\nfor example, already have some of the largest township developments, drawing\nboth house buyers and investors.
