South Mumbai\/South Bombay (SoBo) or Town side is the name given to this area. The Western Suburbs of Mumbai is located immediately north of the Mithi River, whereas the Eastern Suburbs of Mumbai is located to the east of the airport. The current price trend suggests that both purchasing and selling houses\nin Eastern Mumbai is beneficial.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Transport\"><\/span><strong>Transport<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>The Central Line runs through\nMumbai&#8217;s Eastern Suburbs. Each of the communities, except for Powai, has a\ntrain station. Kurla is a Harbour Line interchange station.The Eastern Express\nHighway (EEH) is an important highway that passes through Mumbai&#8217;s Eastern\nSuburbs.The Lal Bahadur Shastri Marg (LBS Marg) is a key arterial route in the\nEastern Suburbs that runs over 21 kilometers. LBS Marg runs from Thane to Sion\nin Mumbai.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, communication from the\ncity&#8217;s western reaches is limited. The principal road connectors connecting the\nEastern and Western neighborhoods are the Andheri-Ghatkopar Link Road, the\nJogeshwari-Vikhroli Link Road (JVLR), and the Andheri-Kurla Road. The Santa\nCruz \u2013 Chembur Link Road (SCLR) connects Santa Cruz and Chembur and was\nfinished in April 2014.Brihanmumbai Electric Supply and Transport provides bus\nservices (BEST). Ghatkopar, Mulund, and Vikhroli all have bus stations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Social_Amenities\"><\/span><strong>Social\nAmenities <\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>It features a well-developed social infrastructure, which includes residential, commercial, sporting, and educational facilities. Pools, spas, private theatres, courts, fully equipped gyms, gardens, and fine dining restaurants are driving up demand for residential buildings in the eastern suburbs. The Tata Institute of Social Science, Diamond Garden, and the Dr. Ambedkar Garden are among the many attractions. Petroleum Corporation Limited, Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited, The Tata Power Company Limited, and others make the eastern line a well-known IT and software center.
