Several of these initiatives have remained dormant for over\nfive years. According to the idea, the Ministry of Housing will intervene and\nsettle individual project difficulties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Ministry&#8217;s engagement will also assist\nstrengthen the financial statements of all such projects by allowing\norganizations to issue cash, loans, or direct equity as needed. &#8220;The\ngovernment is taking this step to establish a win-win situation for all three\nparties involved in the present impasse: residents, developers, and\nlenders,&#8221; says the statement. &#8220;We want individuals who are\nimpatiently expecting a new roof over their heads to receive it sooner,\ndevelopers to boost the economy and create jobs, and banks to breathe a sigh of\nrelief as their parked money become productive,&#8221; says Maharashtra&#8217;s\nHousing Minister, Jitendra Awhad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Ministry has requested a list of all\nthe issues that have arisen throughout the reconstruction process from the\nresidential societies. In Mumbai, land parcels are limited, and redevelopment\nhas been a key source of additional housing supply. However, various\nreconstruction projects have been stalled throughout the years owing to a\nvariety of reasons, especially financial conflicts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Furthermore, in August, the State administration proposed intervening in slum redevelopment projects to expedite their development and execution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:12px\"><em><strong>Disclaimer:&nbsp;<\/strong>The views expressed above are for informational purposes only based on industry reports and related news stories.
