{"id":5451,"date":"2022-02-20T07:59:47","date_gmt":"2022-02-20T07:59:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.propertypistol.com\/blog\/?p=5451"},"modified":"2022-02-21T05:04:07","modified_gmt":"2022-02-21T05:04:07","slug":"construction-and-demolition-waste-policy-is-announced-in-chandigarh","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.propertypistol.com\/blog\/construction-and-demolition-waste-policy-is-announced-in-chandigarh\/","title":{"rendered":"Construction and Demolition Waste Policy is Announced in Chandigarh"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><em>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.propertypistol.com\/blog\/avail-estate-office-services-in-chandigarh-at-a-click\/\">Chandigarh<\/a> government has issued a Construction and Demolition (C&amp;D) waste policy that allows recycled\/processed trash to be reused for rebuilding and other purposes. <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p>This policy intends to enforce the Ministry of Environment, Wildlife and Weather Change&#8217;s C&amp;D waste Management Rules, 2016, which were published on March 29, 2016.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Waste generators would be obliged to\ndeposit C&amp;D waste only to the waste processing facility in Chandigarh&#8217;s\nIndustrial Area Phase-l, or other specified place, under the regulation.\nDischarging C&amp;D garbage in open or non-designated areas will also result in\na harsh punishment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to Clause 90, waste generators\nwho paid C&amp;D processing expenses at the time of building plan approval\nwould be able to obtain processed material free of cost within one year, equal\nto 50% of the sums paid at the time of building plan approval.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Some these waste generators who did not pay\nC&amp;D waste processing fees at the time of building plans approval, or who\ngenerated C&amp;D waste as a result of an activity not requiring building\nproject approval, like the remodelling of an established building or structure,\nwill be entitled to receive free C&amp;D processed material equivalent to 50%\nof the costs estimated and compensated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Washed sand, filler sand\/silt, crushed\nmaterials, and PCC goods constructed of recycled aggregates, such as paver\nblocks, kerbs, ducts, and tiles, are among the products offered at subsidised\nrates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>By illegally dumping unprocessed trash,\nwaste generators or carriers may be fined Rs 5,500 per vehicle. Each year, the\npenalty will be raised by Rs 500.
