The bridge connects the villages of Dhola to Sadiya in the south and Sadiya in the north. The bridge has a total length of 9.15 kilometers and a width of 12.9 meters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The bridge&#8217;s construction started\nin November 2011 and concluded on March 10th, 2017. It was constructed by a\npublic-private partnership arrangement between the Ministry of Road Transport\nand Navayuga Engineering Engineering Company Ltd. The bridge&#8217;s total fee was Rs.\n2,056 crore. It is the most well-known direction for many power challenge\ndevelopers, in addition to supporting the development of several hydropower\nprojects around the kingdom. The bridge has a three-lane highway and also\nserves the strategic needs of the United States in Arunachal Pradesh&#8217;s border\nregions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The superstructure&#8217;s primary span\nis 50 meters. There are a total of 183 bridges, with one hundred and one\ncrossing the flood plains and eighty-two crossing the river. High earthen\nembankments that approach the bridge from all sides are considered essential\nbridge components. A few more tiny bridges can also be found inside the\ntechnique embankments. The bridge&#8217;s entire width is 13.2 meters, which may be\nsplit into a 10.5-meter vehicle carriageway with a 0.9-meter footpath on both\nsides. For vehicle safety, there are collision restrictions on both sides.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The bridge&#8217;s superstructure is\nbuilt up of segmental container structures. Externally, each container is\ntensioned with excessive tensile strands. The superstructure was built using\nasolid process, which minimizes the time gap between development cycles. As the\ndeveloping system approaches the bearing level, it may be completed in a\nshorter time. Because the whole container period cannot be transported to the\ncasting yard, packing containers are divided into segments, which is referred\nto as segmental manufacturing. Every phase&#8217;s weight is kept to a bare minimum\nfor ease of use. Because the segments are externally tensioned, the cables\nflowing through the inside of the container&#8217;s internet may be prevented.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The bridge connects Assam&#8217;s Dhola with Arunachal Pradesh&#8217;s Sadiya. Previously, the most convenient way to cross the Brahmaputra was to take a boat during the day, but this became practically impossible during floods. This bridge now connects upper Assam with the southern region of Arunachal Pradesh, cutting the trip time in half from six hours to just an hour.
