To minimise foot traffic at sub-registrar offices, the Delhi government intends to install biometric scanners and a queue management system. Kailash Gahlot, Revenue Minister of Delhi, stated that after checking the offices of sub-registrars and Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) in Preet Vihar, it was discovered that only roughly four lakh of the five lakh applications submitted in SDM offices via doorstep delivery were completed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Previously, the Delhi government considered creating a single-window site to merge the online applications of many government offices and ministries. This would allow property purchasers to examine maps, land records, and download documents all from the same session, with no pop-ups or web page migration. Users could seek and register for property registration, send assistance questions, provide KYC documents, pay their property tax or ask for permits, and schedule online property registration appointments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This new structure of biometric identification and a queue management system, comparable to the Delhi government’s property registration online page, was created at separate periods and would make the procedure more efficient. Employees at the sub-registrar offices were educated on the advantages of current technologies in simplifying the property registration procedure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
