Up to Dh50,000 for releasing a seized vehicle<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When a driver runs a red light, drives dangerously or recklessly, engages in illegal street racing, or purposefully collides with a police car, their car may be confiscated. The Abu Dhabi Police enacted Legislation No. 5 for 2020 for the impoundment of vehicles inside the Emirate of Abu Dhabi in addition to the penalty within the site visitors law. The new law in<a href=\"https:\/\/propertypistol.com\/dubai\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/propertypistol.com\/dubai\"> Dubai<\/a> stipulates that reckless drivers who violate traffic laws in Abu Dhabi will be subject to fines of up to Dh50,000 to have their vehicles impounded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p>The Abu Dhabi Police state that a car may be detained if the following criteria exist:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>flashes a red light,<\/li><li>acts recklessly or in danger on the street,<\/li><li>operates a vehicle with a license plate that is deformed, hidden, or obscured;<\/li><li>participates in illegal street racing; and<\/li><li>deliberately crashes into a police car.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>2. Not adhering by employing lane discipline &#8211; Dh400 acceptable<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Motorists who disregard the traffic lanes in Dubai on roadways and junction crossings are subject to a fine of Dh400. The acceptable applies to drivers who pause at a junction when they may be in a lane that isn&#8217;t designated for left turns.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3. Making a right-hand pass<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When a driver overtakes another vehicle from the right, that is another kind of lane infringement. If you wish to pass the vehicle in front of you, you must utilize the left lane, often known as the overtaking lane. If you pass from the right, you&#8217;ll have to pay Dh600 and 6 infractions from other drivers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>4. Speeding through a red light<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jumping the red light can result in a Dh1,000 fine and 12 infraction points for traffic. Additionally, the car could be impounded for 30 days in Dubai. The violation must pay Dh5,000 to release the car from impoundment. If the car isn&#8217;t released within three months of being impounded, it will be sold at auction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>5. Causing damage to a police car while riding<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If a driver strikes or destroys a police car, they will not only be required to pay for the costs of the harm done but also have their car seized. The vehicle must be launched with Dh5,000 from the violation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>6. Letting children in the front seat of a car that is younger than 10 years old<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Drivers in Dubai who have a child under the age of 10 in the front seat of their car must pay a Dh400 fine, have their car confiscated, and pay a Dh5,000 release fee within three months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>8. Tailgating<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A Dh400 fine and four black points are assessed for tailgating, and your car will also be seized in Dubai. A car that has been seized must be released for Dh5,000.
