Key Responsibilities Core Testing • Understand functional and technical requirements to design effective test cases and test scenarios • Strong knowledge of test case handling, including writing, organizing, reviewing, and maintaining test cases across releases • Perform manual testing including functional, regression, smoke, sanity, integration, and UI testing • Identify, log, track, and verify bugs using bug tracking tools (e.g., Redmine, JIRA) • Assist in creating and maintaining automation test scripts using tools like Selenium, Playwright, or similar frameworks • Execute automated test scripts and analyze results • Prepare test plans, test cases, and test summary reports • Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and QA team members to ensure timely delivery • Perform API testing using tools like Postman • Participate in daily stand-ups and sprint planning (Agile/Scrum environment) • Ensure adherence to QA best practices and testing standards • Perform end-to-end testing to validate complete business workflows before release • Conduct exploratory testing to uncover edge cases and usability issues not covered by scripted test cases • Perform retesting of fixed defects and regression testing to ensure no new issues are introduced • Validate application performance, usability, and compatibility across different browsers and devices • Review requirements and user stories to identify gaps, ambiguities, or testability concerns early in the cycle Required Skills & Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field • 2–3 years of hands-on manual/functional testing experience • Working knowledge of automation testing tools (Selenium/Cypress/Appium or similar) • Basic understanding of programming/scripting (Java, or JavaScript preferred) • Experience with bug tracking and test management tools (JIRA, Redmine etc.) • Familiarity with API testing tools (Postman) • Good understanding of SDLC and STLC • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Excellent attention to detail and communication skills • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment Good to Have • Familiarity with selenium testing tools. • Basic knowledge of SQL for database testing. • Familiarity with API testing tools (Postman). • Experience testing mobile applications (Android/iOS). • Good Knowledge of AI tool
