A letter of ownership is also known as an ownership certificate. It is one of the most important files that a possessions dealer provides to a client.

In rural areas, it is usually delivered by a Tehsildar, while in urban areas, it is usually given by a Revenue Divisional Officer (RDO). This certificate can be used by homebuyers to secure a domestic mortgage from a financial institution.

A certificate of ownership certifies that the hobby included within the possessions has been transferred without the use of illegal means. However, you should acquire occupancy documents to confirm that you are the rightful owner of the property.

It is a document issued by the local government stating that the property was constructed following local legal rules and that the development is complete according to the approved plan. The certificate establishes that the property is ready to be used. It is a required document that verifies your possession of the items. If you do not obtain the certificates, the local authorities may declare your possessions to be illegal.

The Certificate of Possession’s Contents

Letter of Conditional Possession

In such cases, a client can be provided a conditional ownership letter in which all of the conditions that must be met by the builder are listed.You can include all of the information in this letter that you are unhappy with and ask the builder or dealer to make necessary changes following the contract. If the builder does not comply with it, you have the legal right to take this count number to court.

What is the difference between a Possession Certificate and an Occupancy Certificate?

The finishing touch date is best stated on the ownership paperwork. It does not imply that you are the lawful owner of the property. It is provided by the local government, stating that the development of the possessions has been completed and that they are ready to be occupied. The occupancy certificate is what grants you ownership of the belongings.
