In Taloja, Navi Mumbai, the City and Industrial Development Corporation (CIDCO) announced a massive housing program for the economically weaker section (EWS) and general class.

According to Dr. Sanjay Mukherjee, Vice Chairman and Managing Director of CIDCO, 5,730 affordable dwellings are offered in the Taloja node for low-income individuals. Eknath Shinde, Maharashtra’s Urban Development Minister, offered details mostly on housing program in a video statement, saying that the CIDCO mass housing scheme is renowned because of its high-quality structure, low costs, and simple online application approach.

CIDCO is providing a total of 5,730 dwellings, with 1,524 accessible under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) for EWS candidates. They will be qualified for a subsidy of Rs 2.5 lakh under PMAY, the government’s plan to provide “housing for all” by 2022. The other 4,206 houses are accessible to general public.
